2021 Cashmere Riesling
The Eden Valley has the perfect climate and soils for outstanding Riesling and and the second vintage Cashmere Riesling has perfectly encapsulated the quality fruit you get from this region.
The Cashmere Riesling, named for the beautiful cashmere shawls that came from India to the UK in the early 1800's, which were woven with a wide variety of paisley patterns, is fresh and vibrant. It displays all the classic characters of Riesling with green apple infused with lime and lemon. It is mid weighted and beautifully balanced with good fruit sweetness and crisp acidity.
The wine drinks beautifully now or will continue to evolve if cellared for a few years.
2020 Paisley Linen Fiano
We have sourced this fabulous fruit from the Adelaide Hills where it is elevated and cool, perfect for crisp and tasty whites. The vineyard is not far from the southern tip of Barossa, just outside Williamstown but it falls in the Adelaide Hills GI (GI is short for Geographical Indicator - the boundary line between regions). The Linen Fiano has lemongrass, lime and lemon balm characters. Typical of the variety, it has a textual palette, making it a great food match. There is complexity from a touch of barrel and wild fermentation. It is vibrant, fresh, balanced and great drinking.
2018 Paisley Silk Shiraz
The Barossa Valley is one of the greatest places on the planet to grow Shiraz with typical richness of flavour and great balance. The Paisley Wines Silk Shiraz has all of this and more with a full flavoured palate with blackberry fruit framed with choc mint and vanilla bean oak. The tannins are silky and subtle enough to drink now or will continue to evolve if cellared for a few years.
2018 Paisley Velvet Grenache
Grenache is suited to the warm climate of the Barossa Valley. The Paisley Velvet Grenache has fruit from vines 70 years old and exhibits all the typical characters of a sensational Grenache with upfront raspberry fruit, hints of liquorice and exotic spices. The flavours and velvety tannins are well balanced and tantalise the palate. This wine drinks well now or will continue to evolve if cellared for a few years.
2017 Paisley Denim Mataro
Our gorgeous Denim Mataro comes from vines in the Southern end of the Barossa, near Rowland Flat. The vines are around 30 years old and produce rich and sweet flavours.
The wine has chocolate and herbal flavours, including mint. It is mouth filling and generous on the palate.
