Derek is feeling pretty chuffed by our latest reviews in the brand new Halliday Wine Companion 2020 Guide that hit the bookshelves yesterday. In only our second year of sending wines in for review and based on our small production, we are happy to see the reviews highlight consistently well made wines that offer excellent value for money.
The highlight in the reviews is for our 2017 Mixed by DJ Deadly Turntable GSM which has scored highly over the last two years and comes in with a 95 point score. Campbell Mattinson was the review of this wine and he writes
"Fair to say that the value equation is well in the buyer's favour. This is right in the GSM zone; medium weight, well fruited, earthen and awash with well integrated woodsy-spice notes. Balance has been judged just so, tannin is emery-board fine, length is assured. It's not a simple wine but its appeal is."
