2022 Cashmere Riesling
This range of wines, named after fashionable fabrics, feature the iconic paisley design for which the company is named. The pattern became synonymous with the Scottish town of Paisley situated close to Glasgow and was the birthplace of Kirsten's great-great grandfather, who emigrated to Adelaide in 1839.
A hue of pale straw and tints of green. The nose is lifted with lemon zest, limes and orange blossoms. The palate is bright and juicy with citrus, lychee and gun flint characters. Mineral notes of river pebbles are evident adding interest and complexity. The sweet fruit and clean acidity are well balanced. Citrus and orange blossoms characters linger on the finish.
Drink young for its vibrancy and freshness. However, for more toasty aged characters it will age in the medium term for up to seven years.
